Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has issued the notification for JSSC exam where candidates can apply online from the official website of JSSC, jssc.nic.in. The last date for applying online is 3 August 2023. The examination will be conducted by JSSC on 21st and 22nd September 2024. The admit card for the examination has been issued by JSSC on 17th September 2024. Candidates will be able to get all the information about how they can download the admit card from here and what is the syllabus, when and how the examination will be conducted. After the CGL exam, JSSC has also released the answer key which candidates can download from the official website of JSSC.
JSSC CGL Exam Date And Admit Card
JSSC CGL 2023 exam which is being conducted in 2024, this exam will be conducted in 2 days, one will be conducted on 21st September 2024 and the other will be conducted on 22nd September 2024, candidates will be able to download the admit card for the exam from the official website of JSSC from 17th September 2024.

Exam Pattern
The notification of JSSC CGL 2023 has been released. More than 2000 people will be recruited, how will the exam pattern related to this be? Information about this is given below:-
- JSSC CGL 2023 exam will be taken in the form of main exam.
- The questions asked in the exam will be objective for which you will be given options. 3 marks will be given for each correct answer. And only 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Except language subjects, the option of both Hindi and English will be given for the exam of all other subjects.
- Main paper, 3 papers will have to be given for the main exam and three paper exams will be conducted in three shifts.
Information related to 3 papers is given below :-
Paper 1 :- (Language Knowledge) Total number of questions 120 and total duration 2 hours.

The marks of Paper 1 will be of qualifying nature i.e. students securing 30% marks in language knowledge will qualify the Paper 1 exam.
Paper 2 – Identified tribal and regional language Any question 100 Total duration 2 hours
Candidates will be able to appear in the exam of any one language out of Hindi/English/Urdu/Santhali/Bengali/Mundaari (Munda)/Ho/Kharia/Kudukh (Uraon)/Kurmali/Khortha/Nagpuri/Panchpargania/Oriya/Sanskrit based on the option. In this exam 100 multiple choice questions will be asked in the respective language.
It will be mandatory to secure 30% marks in the identified regional/tribal language.
Paper 3 – General Knowledge, Total Questions- 150, Exam Duration- 2 Hours

Minimum marks in the (language knowledge) test is 30%. Candidates securing less than this marks will be considered unsuccessful/ineligible for selection for appointment and Paper-2 and Paper-3 of such candidates will not be evaluated. Similarly, Paper-3 of candidates securing less than 30% marks in the identified regional/tribal language question Paper-2 will not be evaluated.
Syllabus
JSSC CGL 2023 Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam (JGGLCCE) Syllabus for different subjects in Paper 3, from which questions will be asked is given below:-
- General Studies:- In this subject, the candidate will be asked questions in the context of India’s history, geography, environment, economic scenario, war, movement, Indian agriculture and Indian resources etc., which the candidate will have to answer.
- General Science:- In the questions of General Science, there will be questions related to general understanding and perception of science based on day-to-day observation.
- General Mathematics:- In this subject, questions related to arithmetic, elementary algebra, geometry, general trigonometry, mensuration etc. will be asked. The questions of General Mathematics will generally be of Matric Level.
- Mental Ability Test:- In this, both verbal and non-verbal questions will be asked. In this subject, questions will probably be asked from analogy, similarity and difference, space imagination, problem solving, analysis, visual memory, relation concept, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetic number series and coding etc.
- Basic knowledge of computer:- In this, questions can be asked related to knowledge of various computer devices, MS Windows Operating System, MS Office and method of operating the Internet.
- Knowledge related to Jharkhand state:- Questions will be made on Jharkhand state’s geography, history, civilization, culture, language, literature, minerals, industry, Jharkhand’s contribution in national movement, development plans, sportspersons, personalities, civic achievements, topics of national and international importance etc. which the candidate will have to answer.

- Visit the official website of JSSC: First of all, visit the official website of JSSC.

- Enter your registration number, date of birth, and captcha code.
- After filling the details, click on the “Submit” button.

Notice regarding answer key JGGLCCE: JSSC has conducted the CGL examination on 21st and 22nd September 2024, after which the answer key has also been released on the official website of JSSC on 26th September 2024.
